About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced cabinetmaker to join our team at Colonial Countertops Ltd. As a cabinetmaker apprentice, you will be responsible for assisting our experienced craftsmen in the design, construction, and installation of high-quality cabinets and millwork.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the design and construction of cabinets and millwork, ensuring high-quality finishes and attention to detail.
  • Operate various power tools and equipment, including table saws, miter saws, and sanders.
  • Measure and cut materials accurately, using a variety of techniques and tools.
  • Assemble and install cabinets and millwork, ensuring proper fit and finish.
  • Collaborate with our team to meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality results.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with manual dexterity and attention to detail.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Punctuality and a strong work ethic.

Language and Work Environment
