About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Cabinetmaker Apprentice to join our team at Colonial Countertops Ltd. As a Cabinetmaker Apprentice, you will be responsible for assisting our experienced craftsmen in the design, construction, and installation of high-quality cabinets and millwork.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the fabrication and assembly of cabinets and millwork
  • Develop skills in woodworking, including cabinetmaking, joinery, and finishing techniques
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods and lifting up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
  • Collaborate with our team to ensure timely completion of projects
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
