We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager Commercial Credit Risk to join our team at NBC. As a key member of our credit risk team, you will play a critical role in analyzing and authorizing complex credits, as well as coaching and mentoring colleagues to ensure sound risk management practices.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze and authorize complex credits, ensuring alignment with NBC's risk management policies and procedures.
- Develop and maintain relationships with business lines, providing expert guidance on risk management and credit approvals.
- Collaborate with the Vice-President of Credit to support strategic development and growth initiatives.
- Lead the development and implementation of risk policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Participate in the creation of innovative solutions to optimize process efficiency and system effectiveness.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field and 7 years of relevant experience, or Master's degree in a related field and 5 years of relevant experience.
- Accounting designation or CFA, an asset.
- Experience in business development and complex commercial credit financing.
- Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to influence leaders and drive results.
- Ability to work in a team environment and influence leaders.
- Experience in portfolio monitoring and risk management.
- Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
