A robust understanding of accounting principles, outstanding analytical capabilities, and effective team leadership are essential for this position.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert guidance on IFRS and maintain current knowledge of accounting standards.
  • Prepare and assess monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in line with IFRS, with a solid grasp of GAAP.
  • Manage the annual audit process in collaboration with external auditors.
  • Analyze financial outcomes, recognize trends, and offer actionable insights to senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards, including SEC reporting requirements where applicable.
  • Lead, mentor, and cultivate a team of financial reporting professionals.
  • Identify and implement enhancements to financial reporting processes to boost efficiency and accuracy.
  • Utilize technology to optimize reporting and analytical functions.
  • Develop and uphold documentation for financial reporting processes and controls.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including finance, treasury, and tax departments, to gather information and ensure alignment.
  • Deliver clear and concise reporting to senior management and the board of directors.
  • Serve as a point of contact for financial reporting inquiries from internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline.
  • CPA or equivalent professional designation is preferred.
  • 5-7 years of experience in financial reporting, ideally within a public company or public accounting environment.
  • Proven experience in managing a team and directing financial reporting processes.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting requirements.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial modeling.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
