About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Construction Labourer to join our team at Applewood Forming Inc. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for assisting in the construction process, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the construction process by performing tasks such as loading, unloading, and transporting construction materials.
  • Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades as required.
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt, and pave and rake asphalt as needed.
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials, and remove rubble and other debris at construction sites.
  • Operate various equipment including concrete vibrators, reciprocating saws, circular saws, concrete saws, mortar and concrete mixers, beltcretes, grinding machines, grouting machines, chippers, jackhammers, air compressors, air guns, nail guns, drills, augers, small front-end loaders, chain saws, compactors, and sandblasters.
Requirements
  • Physical demands include working in a fast-paced environment, handling heavy loads, and performing repetitive tasks.
  • Work conditions include working outdoors, at heights, in confined spaces, and in a dusty environment.
  • Education and experience include no degree, certificate, or diploma required, and will train on the job.
  • Language requirements include English as the primary language of communication.
