Precision Record Pressing Maintenance Support Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Support professional to join our Burlington team at Precision Record Pressing. This full-time, permanent opportunity will be responsible for maintaining systems and equipment by completing corrective maintenance and executing preventative and predictive maintenance schedules.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive the preventative maintenance plan to achieve maximum equipment efficiency
  • Conduct work functions using safe work practices and procedures
  • Support Production through timely resolution of mechanical breakdowns
  • Execute mold changes and color changes to ensure schedule adherence
  • Monitor, track, and improve key performance indicators
  • Properly record work orders and part consumption to maintain departmental spare parts inventory
  • Promote continuous improvement and take advantage of cost reduction opportunities
  • Maintain a clean and safe workplace
Physical Demands:
  • Required to stand for long periods of time (duration of shift)
  • Involves repetitive motions for duration of shift; use of hands and wrist continuously in a controlled environment
  • Engage in frequent bending, stooping, squatting, pushing, and pulling of parts and part containers
  • Due to the open environment of the warehouse, must be able to work in various weather conditions
  • Must be able to carry, push, pull, or lift up to 50lbs occasionally
Requirements/Qualifications:
  • Adequate mechanical troubleshooting skills
  • Must be willing to work all shifts, rotating every 2 weeks
  • Must be willing to wear PPE while performing functions
  • Ability to work overtime as business needs require
  • Ability to lift moderate weight intermittently
  • Excellent communication skills: written, electronic, and oral
  • Must have strong attention to detail
  • Must be capable of working in stressful situations in times of need
  • Must be able to work well with others and in a team atmosphere
