**Job Summary:**

STOKES Janitorial & Maintenance is seeking a skilled Maintenance and Repair Worker to perform and upkeep tasks, minor repairs, and building maintenance. The ideal candidate will be reliable, able to work independently, and own a vehicle.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Perform preventative maintenance to ensure the smooth operation of facilities and equipment
* Conduct basic repairs throughout condos and apartments, including minor fixes and upkeep tasks
* Oversee and greet contractors when professional repairs are necessary
* Diagnose mechanical issues and contact the appropriate trade to have them corrected
* Check control panels and report any maintenance issues needing professional repairs to facility managers

**Requirements:**

* Experience in maintenance and repair areas
* Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and building automation systems
* Experience using hand and power tools
* Ability to read technical manuals
* Good English communication and interpersonal skills
* Physical stamina and dexterity
* High school diploma or equivalent
* A vehicle is a must
