Radian Robotics is seeking a highly skilled Robotics Systems Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Controls Department, you will be responsible for supporting projects and field services activities, including programming and documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Offline Programming
- Configure and program PLCs (Siemens, Allen Bradley, and Beckhoff), robots (ABB), HMIs (Siemens and Allen Bradley), and vision systems (IFM and Keyence)
- Device Configuration and Networking
- Configure and network devices using Ethernet/IP and Profinet protocols
- On-Site Shop Testing
- Test robotic systems in a controlled environment to ensure proper functionality
- Troubleshooting
- Identify and resolve issues with mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical systems
- Off-Site Commissioning
- Commission robotic systems at customer sites
- Service and Support
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for robotic systems
- Documentation
- Develop user manuals, process diagrams, and training programs
- Collaboration and Communication
- Work closely with colleagues, including project management, to achieve project deadlines
- Travel
- Travel within North America as required
Requirements
- Education
- College or university degree or diploma in electrical engineering, automation, and robotics or a related field
- Experience
- Proven experience in PLC, robot, and HMI programming
- Strong typing skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Familiarity with MRP systems
- Skills
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
