Key Responsibilities

  • Offline Programming
    • Configure and program PLCs (Siemens, Allen Bradley, and Beckhoff), robots (ABB), HMIs (Siemens and Allen Bradley), and vision systems (IFM and Keyence)
  • Device Configuration and Networking
    • Configure and network devices using Ethernet/IP and Profinet protocols
  • On-Site Shop Testing
    • Test robotic systems in a controlled environment to ensure proper functionality
  • Troubleshooting
    • Identify and resolve issues with mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical systems
  • Off-Site Commissioning
    • Commission robotic systems at customer sites
  • Service and Support
    • Provide ongoing support and maintenance for robotic systems
  • Documentation
    • Develop user manuals, process diagrams, and training programs
  • Collaboration and Communication
    • Work closely with colleagues, including project management, to achieve project deadlines
  • Travel
    • Travel within North America as required

Requirements

  • Education
    • College or university degree or diploma in electrical engineering, automation, and robotics or a related field
  • Experience
    • Proven experience in PLC, robot, and HMI programming
    • Strong typing skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
    • Familiarity with MRP systems
  • Skills
    • Strong communication and teamwork skills
