Material Handler

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our team at BizLink. As a Material Handler, you will play a critical role in maintaining our inventory levels, ensuring accurate and efficient material movement, and supporting our manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate inventory records and perform cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Identify, label, and place materials in stock, and record location for easy retrieval.
- Locate and retrieve materials and supplies as needed, verifying against production orders.
- Operate forklifts and other equipment to move materials safely and efficiently.
- Perform miscellaneous upkeep of equipment and area to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Comply with all safety rules and regulations, and maintain accurate and complete records as required.
Requirements:
- 1+ years of experience operating a forklift in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull products as required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Good computer skills and attention to detail.
- Strong work ethic and positive team player attitude.
- Able to bend and lift weights of up to 23kg (50lbs), and stand for extended periods.
- Able to multi-task and prioritize tasks effectively.
