About the Role

Pacific Welder & Motive Power Services LTD is seeking a skilled Industrial Electric Equipment Assembler to join our team. As an Industrial Electric Equipment Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling and fitting metal and prefabricated parts to close tolerances according to blueprints.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble stators or armatures for heavy-duty electric motors
  • Collect, record and summarize inspection results
  • Assemble winding into core and make electrical connections
  • Interpret engineering drawings, electrical schematics and blueprints
  • Assemble and fit electrical motor or transformer auxiliary equipment
  • Fit electrical control devices into switchboards and panelboards
  • Wire electrical connections for switchboards and panel boards
  • Assemble panelboard and switchboard cabinets and install bus bars
  • Check final assembly for adherence to quality control standards
  • Set up and adjust production machineries/tools
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience
  • Work Term: Permanent
  • Work Language: English
  • Hours: 40 hours per week
