Luminary Contracting Inc is seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and renovating residential and commercial structures.
Key Responsibilities- Construction and Renovation: Prepare layouts, measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials to build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
- Estimation and Planning: Estimate costs and materials for projects, ensuring timely and budget-friendly completion.
- Maintenance and Repair: Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in various settings, including mills, mines, hospitals, and industrial plants.
- Tool Management: Ensure proper use and maintenance of safety equipment, steel-toed safety boots, hard hats, and safety glasses/goggles.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience, or equivalent experience.
- Work Setting: Construction, renovation, residential, and commercial settings.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Physically demanding work environment.
- Work Language: English.
- Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
