Company Overview: Showcase is a national retailer with a strong presence in top malls throughout Canada and the USA. We offer a unique shopping experience with emerging trendy products from social media, including health, beauty, home, toys, tech, and novelty food.
Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Store Manager to lead our retail store in a fast-paced environment. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of sales associates, ensuring that the store runs smoothly and profitably, and providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage Day-to-Day Store Operations: Oversee the daily activities of the store, including sales, customer service, and inventory management.
- Lead a High-Performing Team: Recruit, train, develop, and manage a team of sales associates to deliver an exceptional in-store experience.
- Create a Positive Store Environment: Foster a positive and engaging environment for both customers and associates.
- Analyze Sales and Financial Data: Analyze sales and financial data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and Execute Strategies: Develop and execute strategies to drive traffic and sales, including social media and community outreach programs.
- Ensure Visual Merchandising: Ensure that the store is visually appealing and merchandised to showcase our products effectively.
- Manage Inventory: Monitor inventory levels and work with the District Manager to manage inventory.
- Adhere to Company Policies: Adhere to company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
- Supervisory Experience: At least 3 years of supervisory experience, preferably in a high-volume, fast-paced retail environment.
- Sales and Profitability: Proven track record of achieving sales targets and maximizing profitability.
- Leadership and Team-Building: Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Communication and Customer Service: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Analytical and Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.
- Social Media and Digital Marketing: Knowledge of social media and digital marketing trends.
- Flexibility: Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Industry Experience: Experience in the health, beauty, home, toys, tech, or food industry is a plus.
