About the Role:
The Kitchen Equipment Specialist is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and delivery of kitchen equipment for the Culinary department, service equipment for the Velvet Glove Restaurant and Lounge, and the overall cleanliness of the area they are working in.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cleans and sanitizes all kitchen equipment used throughout the shift.
- Works efficiently to ensure that all Service and Culinary staff have the equipment they need to succeed at their job.
- Assists culinary staff with dish-ups and ensures Banquet plate set-ups are accurate and completed daily.
- Maintains the cleanliness of the Cantina and ensures Cantina dishes are cleaned and restocked.
- Reports any maintenance concerns and guest issues.
- Maintains supplies and reports any shortages in supplies promptly.
Requirements:
- Previous Stewarding/Kitchen experience is preferred.
- Must be flexible with working hours.
- Proficient in English, written, and verbal.
- Must be capable of standing and walking for long periods of time.
- Must be capable of bending, kneeling, and climbing a ladder.
