Job Title: Executive Chef

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at KC Restaurant & Lounge. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the kitchen and ensuring the highest quality of food is served to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Menu Planning: Develop and implement menus that showcase our culinary expertise and meet the tastes of our diverse customer base.
  • Culinary Leadership: Supervise and train a team of cooks and kitchen staff to ensure seamless kitchen operations and maintain high standards of food quality and presentation.
  • Food Safety and Quality: Implement and maintain strict food safety and quality control procedures to ensure a clean and healthy kitchen environment.
  • Inventory Management: Manage kitchen inventory and supplies to minimize waste and optimize resource utilization.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with our front-of-house team to ensure seamless service and exceed customer expectations.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Skills: Excellent culinary skills, leadership abilities, and attention to detail.
