About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Janitorial Specialist to join our team at Evergreen Building Maintenance Inc. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of our properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Sweep, mop, scrub, and wax hallways, floors, and stairs to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate industrial vacuum cleaners, power sweepers, carpet cleaning machines, polishing machines, and steam cleaners to efficiently clean and maintain our facilities.
  • Waste Management: Empty trash cans and other waste containers to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Window and Surface Cleaning: Wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings to maintain a clean and visually appealing environment.
  • Grounds Maintenance: Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens to maintain a well-manicured appearance.
  • Bathroom Cleaning: Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
Requirements
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
  • Physical Demands: Bend, crouch, kneel, and lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs) to perform cleaning and maintenance tasks.
  • Availability: Be available to work a 40-hour week, with flexibility to work varied shifts as needed.
