Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at OEB Breakfast Co. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring that food and service meet our high standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and Implement Operational Procedures

Develop and implement effective methods to meet work schedules, manage food and kitchen supplies, and maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Lead and Train Staff

Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, providing guidance and training on job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.

Manage Inventory and Budget

Estimate ingredient and supply requirements, prepare budget and cost estimates, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.

Ensure Quality and Customer Satisfaction

Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, address customer complaints, and prepare food order summaries for the chef.

Establish Work Schedules

Develop and implement work schedules that meet the needs of the kitchen and staff.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience

7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service supervisory role

Work Environment

Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, and tight deadlines
