About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Apna Chaat House. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Lead and manage a team of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Provide training and guidance to staff on job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge required to perform their roles effectively.
  • Inventory Management: Estimate and manage the inventory of ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that we have the necessary stock to meet customer demand.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all food and service meet our high quality control standards, maintaining the reputation of Apna Chaat House for excellent cuisine and customer service.
  • Customer Service: Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that all customers receive a positive experience.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for business development and improvement.
  • Assembly and Presentation: Supervise and check the assembly of trays, ensuring that all dishes are presented to a high standard.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Language: English
  • Work Hours: 30 hours per week
