About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Farm Laborer to join our team at ALTERNATIVE MED CANADA INC. as a key member of our agricultural operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Farm Operations
    • Assist in the planting, cultivating, and harvesting of crops
    • Perform tasks such as fertilizing, spraying, and weeding
    • Monitor and maintain the health of crops and soil
  • Harvesting and Packing
    • Harvest crops at the appropriate time to ensure optimal quality
    • Pack and prepare crops for market
  • Equipment Maintenance
    • Perform routine maintenance on farm equipment
    • Assist in the repair and replacement of equipment as needed
  • Health and Safety
    • Follow all health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment
    • Report any hazards or incidents to management
Requirements
  • Education
    • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • Experience
    • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in farm labor
  • Skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
    • Physical stamina to perform manual labor
    • Basic knowledge of farm equipment and operations
