Job Summary
The Technician III-Roving is responsible for operating the facility, including mechanical and supporting systems. This role involves performing structured inspections, preventative and corrective maintenance, routine and on-demand services on facility mechanical equipment and other systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform work in accordance with established processes and practices.
- Comply with internal and external requirements, including environmental, health and safety, and fire protection.
- Conduct facility walkthroughs for mechanical, electrical, and other equipment system monitoring and inspection.
- Operate facility mechanical and other systems.
- Manage work order life cycle and record resolution data within the service maintenance management database.
- Assist in implementing preventative maintenance programs and ensuring deficiencies are identified and escalated.
Requirements
- High school diploma plus trades training and/or certification or licensing.
- Minimum 3 years experience providing preventive and corrective maintenance on heating ventilation and air conditions systems, or pneumatic or hydraulic systems.
- Sound knowledge of processes and practices relating to facility operations and maintenance.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical and other building systems and equipment.
- Strong client-service orientation and a high sense of urgency.
- Knowledge and understanding of Building Automation Systems (BAS) and HVAC Systems.
