Job Title: Automotive Mechanic

101 Radiator Timmins Ltd. is seeking a skilled Automotive Mechanic to join our team. As an Automotive Mechanic, you will be responsible for inspecting and testing mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions, confirming findings with a supervisor to determine whether to repair or replace units, and discussing work with a supervisor.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions
  • Confirm findings with supervisor to determine whether to repair or replace unit
  • Discuss work with supervisor
  • Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems
  • Repair or replace mechanical units or components
  • Estimate parts and labour cost to perform vehicle maintenance and repairs
  • Advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements
  • Complete reports to record problems and work performed
  • Provide customer service
Requirements:
  • Registered Apprenticeship certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience or equivalent experience
  • Automotive Service Technician Trade Certification
  • Tire, wheel and rim mechanic
  • Valid driver's licence
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a garage environment, standing for extended periods and working in a fast-paced environment.
