The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food services department, ensuring that all aspects of food preparation, presentation, and service meet the highest standards of quality and excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate daily operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
  • Monitor staff performance and provide coaching and feedback as needed
  • Plan and organize daily operations, including menu planning, inventory management, and supply chain logistics
  • Set staff work schedules and ensure adequate staffing levels
  • Supervise staff and provide guidance on food preparation, presentation, and service
  • Determine type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures
  • Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to staff
  • Organize and maintain inventory, including food, supplies, and equipment
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed and maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies
  • Participate in marketing plans and implementation to promote our food services
Requirements:
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in food services management
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years, or equivalent experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy loads
