Bakery Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Bakery Specialist to join our team at WOW Store Red Deer. As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of sweet and savory goods.
Key Responsibilities- Product Preparation: Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes, and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders.
- Inventory Management: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies to ensure a smooth operation of the bakery.
- Baking and Quality Control: Bake mixed dough and batters to meet established quality standards, and inspect kitchen and food service areas to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Maintenance and Organization: Operate machinery, organize and maintain inventory, and ensure that all tasks are completed in a timely manner.
- Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced bakery environment, with a focus on providing excellent customer service and maintaining a positive work atmosphere.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a bakery or related field.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 30 to 44 hours per week.
