Key Responsibilities- Technical Troubleshooting: Inspect and test electronic equipment and assemblies to diagnose and locate circuit, component, and equipment faults.
- Repair and Maintenance: Adjust, align, replace, or repair electronic equipment and assemblies to ensure optimal performance.
- Documentation and Reporting: Complete work orders, test, and maintenance reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Cost Estimation: Prepare cost estimates for repairs and maintenance to ensure accurate billing and budgeting.
- Blueprint Reading: Read blueprints and drawings to understand system configurations and identify potential issues.
- Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficiency in MS Office, MS Outlook, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Windows, and MS Word.
- Networks and Wireless Technology: Experience with networks, wireless networks, and wireless routers.
- Attention to Detail: Maintain a high level of attention to detail to ensure accurate diagnoses and repairs.
- Work Under Pressure: Work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines and resolve complex technical issues.
- Immediate Settlement Needs: Assist with immediate settlement needs of newcomers and refugees, including housing, transportation, storage, childcare, and winter clothing.
- Credential Recognition: Support newcomers and refugees with foreign credential recognition to help them integrate into the workforce.
- Work Term: Permanent position.
- Work Language: English.
- Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
