Job Title: Computer Service Technician

We are seeking a skilled Computer Service Technician to join our team at WiFi Computers. As a key member of our technical support team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our computer systems and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and Test Electronic Equipment: Conduct thorough inspections and tests on electronic equipment and assemblies to identify any faults or issues.
  • Diagnose and Repair Faults: Use your technical expertise to diagnose and repair circuit, component, and equipment faults.
  • Complete Work Orders and Reports: Accurately complete work orders and test reports to ensure seamless communication with our team and clients.
  • Prepare Cost Estimates: Provide detailed cost estimates for repairs and maintenance work.
  • Read Blueprints and Drawings: Interpret blueprints and drawings to understand complex electronic systems.
Requirements:
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficient in MS Office, MS Outlook, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Windows, and MS Word.
  • Networks and Wireless Networks: Knowledge of networks and wireless networks, including wireless routers.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure.
  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Assist with immediate settlement needs of newcomers and refugees, including housing, transportation, and other essential services.
