About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation and Production
    • Prepare and bake a variety of breads, pastries, and other baked goods to meet customer demand.
    • Operate bakery equipment, including mixers, ovens, and proofers, to ensure efficient production.
  • Quality Control
    • Inspect baked goods for quality and presentation, ensuring they meet our high standards.
    • Identify and address any quality issues promptly, taking corrective action as needed.
  • Customer Service
    • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
    • Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure seamless service and a positive customer experience.
  • Inventory Management
    • Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies and ingredients as needed to maintain optimal stock levels.
    • Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure accuracy and prevent stockouts.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a bakery or related environment.
  • Work Setting
    • Café or restaurant environment.
  • Physical Demands
    • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
    • Fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks.
