Position Overview

As a Glass Fabrication Specialist at KP Building Products, you will play a crucial role in the production of high-quality glass products. This permanent position offers a dynamic work environment where you will be expected to demonstrate your skills and attention to detail.

Work Environment
  • Work Term: Permanent
  • Work Language: English or French
  • Hours: 84 hours bi-weekly
  • Education: No degree, certificate or diploma required
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months preferred
Work Site Conditions

The work environment can be noisy, requiring the ability to focus amidst various sounds.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and calibrate glass finishing machinery to ensure optimal performance.
  • Conduct visual inspections of products to maintain quality standards.
  • Measure and assess production samples to verify compliance with specifications.
  • Utilize hand tools to cut glass according to marked outlines or patterns.
  • Identify and mark defective glass to maximize material use.
  • Refine rough edges using smoothing tools such as belt sanders.
