Pastry Chef de Partie

**About the Role**
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pastry Chef de Partie to join our culinary team at Eldorado Resort, a leading hospitality company in Canada. As a Pastry Chef de Partie, you will be responsible for leading a team of culinary professionals and overseeing the preparation and presentation of high-quality pastries and desserts.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead a team of culinary professionals in the preparation and presentation of pastries and desserts
- Develop and implement new recipes and menu items to enhance the culinary experience
- Ensure high-quality standards are met in all aspects of pastry production
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef and Sous Chefs to develop and implement culinary strategies
- Train and mentor junior staff and apprentices to develop their culinary skills
- Ensure compliance with food safety guidelines and regulations
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards
**Requirements**
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in a professional kitchen, preferably in a similar role
- Culinary training from a recognized institution, or equivalent experience
- Valid Food Safe Certificate
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to lift objects weighing up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods
