Carpentry Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at Straw Hat Restoration Inc. as a key member of our construction team.
Key Responsibilities- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements
- Prepare layouts and ensure compliance with building codes using measuring tools
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials
- Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems
- Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in various settings
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced construction environment, with regular exposure to heights, confined spaces, noise, dust, and outdoor conditions.
Requirements- 1-2 years of experience in carpentry or a related field
- No degree, certificate, or diploma required
- Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in a physically demanding environment
- Excellent problem-solving and judgment skills
- Reliability, punctuality, and strong teamwork skills
