Position OverviewThe Senior Azure Administrator plays a crucial role in the effective management of cloud services and infrastructure within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem. This role encompasses the administration of Azure services, safeguarding data security in the cloud, and delivering technical support to enhance the company's cloud operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Management of Azure Services: Configure, oversee, and monitor Azure services, including virtual machines, web applications, Azure SQL databases, and virtual networks.
- Security and Compliance: Develop and uphold security protocols, network security groups, firewall regulations, and access strategies to ensure the protection of Azure resources.
- Cost Management: Evaluate and optimize Azure service expenditures by monitoring performance and utilizing cost analysis tools to adjust resources as needed.
- Automation: Leverage Azure Automation and other tools to streamline repetitive tasks, enhancing operational efficiency.
- Backup and Disaster Recovery: Establish and manage backup and disaster recovery plans for critical data and applications in Azure.
- Technical Assistance: Provide advanced technical support for Azure-related challenges, collaborating with development and operations teams to resolve incidents.
- Documentation and Training: Maintain comprehensive documentation on Azure architectures, procedures, and configurations. Offer training and guidance to teams on the effective utilization of cloud resources.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related discipline.
- Extensive experience in cloud systems administration, with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure.
- Thorough understanding of Azure services, deployment models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), and cloud architecture.
- Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell, Azure CLI) for task automation.
- Solid grasp of network and security principles in the cloud environment.
- Able to thrive in a dynamic setting and manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Exceptional communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Fluency in written and spoken French.
- Azure certifications, such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, are highly regarded.
