The salary for this position ranges from $62,239 to $89,469. Interior Health evaluates salaries within this range based on the applicant's qualifications, experience, and an internal equity assessment of current employee salaries.
Your Role in Making a Difference:Aligned with the organization's vision and values, the Strategic Business Advisor for P3 Contracts (Public-Private Partnerships) is tasked with facilitating engagement with P3 stakeholders. The advisor leverages the Project Agreement to conduct research, generate reports, and apply public sector P3 procurement guidelines. Responsibilities include collaborating with partners and user groups on contracting needs, assisting in contractor meetings, drafting necessary documentation, and analyzing financial reports. The advisor is also responsible for preparing procurement documents and managing payments related to the P3 contract, as well as contributing to the formulation of policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:- Advises the Manager on the strategic ramifications of contractual decisions and appropriate actions regarding procurement and termination policies.
- Assists in monitoring contract compliance, including data collection, validation, and management.
- Produces and conducts preliminary analysis of strategic reports as requested by the Manager and/or Director.
- Provides administrative and data support to the Manager and/or Director in project-related tasks.
- Offers assistance in processing insurance claims.
- Collaborates with the Manager to review and develop contract processes to ensure strategic appropriateness.
- Supports the Manager in creating training materials and policies.
- Facilitates relationships between the Manager, Director, and partners on strategic matters.
- Serves as backup for peers in the Strategic Business Advisor role within P3 Operations.
- In accordance with IH's Occupational Health & Safety Program, all employees must adhere to Occupational Health and Safety policies and procedures and attend all required training. Employees are responsible for reporting any identified hazards, unsafe conditions, or incidents to their manager or supervisor immediately.
- Performs additional duties as assigned by the Manager and/or Director.
