We are seeking a highly skilled Harbor Pilot to join our team at LHR Americas. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a professional pilotage service, vessel traffic management, and support services at all Saudi Aramco Oil Ports and Terminals.

Key Responsibilities

* Direct deep-loaded vessels to a safe anchorage and line up same for the departure channel upon the ship's Master's request.
* Investigate ship/pier-related oil pollution incidents and prepare reports.
* Maintain a permanent official log of vessels handled.
* Advise vessels of ballast condition required, berthing and unberthing time and other information to expedite ship movement and help with optimum scheduling.
* Perform other miscellaneous duties as directed by Senior Harbor Pilot Supervision.

Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in Science from a recognized and approved Maritime Studies College and have 5 years of experience, including at least 4 in Harbor Pilot or seagoing experience.
* Or you will hold a High National Diploma from a recognized and approved Maritime Studies College and have 6 years of experience, including at least 4 in Harbor Pilot or seagoing experience.
* Maritime Studies discipline required for HND & Bachelor graduates.
* Tanker Safety Course-Basic training in Oil/Chem/Gas.
* Helicopter and Underwater Escape Training Course is also necessary.

* If your preliminary phone/video interview is not successful, our Talent Acquisition consultant will inform you.
* If your resume is approved a member of the Talent Acquisition Team will get back to you and schedule a face-to-face meeting in a defined location.
* The client interview contains technical questions that help assess your familiarity with problem-solving in your given field and may include a behavioral evaluation.
* 3 There could be additional video interviews with hiring managers, which may also contain technical questions that help us assess your familiarity with problem-solving in your given field.
* Conditions for employment include but are not limited to medical examinations, and permission to secure a visa to work and reside in-country.

Relocation Process

* After your offer is accepted and all conditions for employment are met, you will be assigned a relocation advisor from LHR Americas.
* This advisor will be your go-to resource for your job transition, providing valuable advice on visa logistics, notice periods, medical requirements, and more.
