**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Developer to join our team at Electronic Theatre Controls. As a key member of our R&D team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing the next generation of IoT-based commercial building controls systems.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Assume design responsibility for various projects, including making design modifications or improvements to existing and special projects.
  • Analyze project problems to determine probable cause and potential solutions, including investigative work pertinent to designs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to compile project schedules, specifications, test plans, equipment purchases, and release of related documentation.
  • Develop and maintain departmental process and quality programs.

**Requirements:**

  • Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in software development, embedded systems, or IoT development.
  • Strong knowledge of low-level programming, embedded firmware, and Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS).
  • Experience with Open Thread decentralized mesh networks, CoAP, Zephyr, and Linux is a plus.
