Job Title: Community Services Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Community Services Worker to join our team at The Salvation Army. As a key member of our community outreach team, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals and families in need.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the organization and distribution of food bank donations.
  • Provide general assistance to clients, including intake and data entry.
  • Ensure building and resident security, and provide access to the facility as needed.
  • Exemplify the Gospel of Jesus Christ in the performance of all job responsibilities.
  • Assist with reporting and administrative tasks as required.
Qualifications and Education:
  • High school education.
  • WHMIS training.
  • Up to one year of prior related experience.
Skills and Capabilities:
  • Attention to detail, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Strong sense of integrity and confidentiality.
Working Conditions:
  • Typical working location is in the entire facility and property designated.
  • The performance of the job requires industrial cleaning equipment and tools, mopping/sweeping, bending/twisting/lifting, occasional ladder work, and fine motor skills.
