Investment Product Administrator Job Description

About the Role:

The Investment Product Administrator will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service to our clients (Advisors) by ensuring seamless account management and transaction processing. This individual will work closely with the National Investments team to handle account updates, openings, and business transactions, as well as liaise with carriers and fund companies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process incoming mutual and segregated fund trades, including new account openings, non-financial trades, and investment transfers.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of transactions, identifying and correcting errors as required.
  • Respond promptly to incoming advisor inquiries and act as a liaison with carriers and fund companies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the team.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent, with post-secondary education preferred.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience in the investment industry.
  • Prior administrative experience is desirable.
  • Proficiency in typing and utilizing computer applications, including the MS Office suite.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal forms.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving abilities.
