Senior Pricing Analyst Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Pricing Analyst to join our team at Waste Management. As a key member of our pricing team, you will be responsible for analyzing complex financial and statistical data to recommend price changes and improve profitability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement and maintain pricing infrastructures to ensure accurate and efficient pricing processes.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of pricing strategies and modify pricing structures as needed to optimize revenue growth.
  • Recommend and implement monthly price increases, coordinating with Sales and Billing for successful implementation.
  • Analyze complex financial, statistical, and strategic information to maintain pricing tools and ensure data-driven decision making.
  • Create and analyze advanced reports for customer and route profitability to inform business decisions.
  • Audit billing and services to monitor customer changes and set ups, ensuring accurate and timely billing.
  • Provide reporting and documentation of pricing structures, serving as the point-of-contact for pricing inquiries from internal sales departments.
  • May provide support and direction to less experienced pricing analysts, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or equivalent.
  • Experience: 5 years of relevant work experience in financial analysis, statistical analysis, or market research.
Additional Requirements:
  • Financial and statistical analysis experience, particularly in the waste industry, is highly desirable.
  • Bilingual French and English is considered an asset, but not required.
Work Environment:
  • This role is based in an office setting, with a hybrid schedule requiring occasional work from home.
