Job Summary

We are looking for a seasoned professional with a strong background in engineering and project management to lead our Control Engineering Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing control systems, ensuring quality engineering design and specifications, and providing technical counsel to clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and integration of 5-year Restoration Programs to enhance performance, maintainability, resiliency, duplication, and control systems.
  • Develop and maintain policies and standards related to control systems.
  • Lead the Controls Engineering Team, providing coaching, guidance, and development opportunities for employees and contracted services.
  • Validate and editorialize documented business, technical, and project requirements relating to control systems.
  • Provide innovative engineering solutions to enhance passenger safety and service through improved ease, safety, resiliency, and excess in airport and control systems.
Requirements
  • Post-secondary degree in Engineering from a recognized Canadian institution, or a combination of education and relevant professional experience.
  • 8+ years of combined equivalent work experience and education in the fields of engineering and project management.
  • Preference to those candidates who are a Professional Engineer as designated by Professional Engineers Ontario.
