About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Content Designer to join our team at REW (Real Estate Works). As a Content Designer, you will be responsible for creating engaging and high-quality content across various channels, including articles, video content, social media, and newsletters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop content templates to deliver a consistent and tailored experience for our audiences.
  • Contribute to the creative process and help shape our content to reflect our brand's values and messaging.
  • Use Figma to create layouts and assets for our content streams and publishing team.
  • Select, find, or create artwork that represents our content with clarity and captures the attention of our community.
  • Make layout decisions on-the-fly and adapt to less-than-ideal inputs, changes, and challenges in a fast-paced, real-time media environment.
Scope of Work

You will be responsible for handling a variety of content types, including:

  • Complex articles with multiple imagery selection, charts, and graphs.
  • Standard articles with layout, imagery, and media.
  • Simple articles with layout and imagery.

Additionally, you will need to create social assets and newsletter artwork, as well as promotional assets in different sizes and formats.

Requirements
  • Thrives on taking a brief and getting on with the work.
  • Works with copywriters and the content team to brainstorm on content ideas.
  • Is resourceful and capable of finding compelling but appropriate artwork for articles, no matter the topic.
  • Can provide art direction and contribute to content briefs.
  • Is highly-skilled in Figma and able to bend components to accelerate workflows.
  • Can be comfortable working with ClickUp for task and project management.
Bonus Skills
  • Familiar-with and able to leverage AI as a part of your toolset.
  • Storyboarding.
  • Illustration and 3D modeling.
  • Solid deck design skills.
  • Video editing and motion graphics.
Terms

We are offering a part-time contract until December 13, 2024, with approximately 21-28 hours per week. The ideal candidate will be able to work hybrid with occasional in-office participation. The compensation range is $4-5K per month, and you will report directly to the Director of Content.
