Hairdressing Salon Supervisor Job Description

Trends Salon & Spa is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Hairdressing Salon Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our salon, supervising staff, and maintaining high standards of customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Schedule Work: Plan and coordinate the work schedules of our team members to ensure optimal productivity and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Arrange for regular maintenance and repair of our equipment and machinery to prevent downtime and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Emergency Situations: Be the point of contact for emergency situations and handle them in a professional and timely manner.
  • Coordination: Coordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure the smooth operation of our computer equipment and machinery by performing regular checks and maintenance.
  • Cleaning: Oversee the cleaning of specialty and difficult items to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Reports: Prepare and submit progress and other reports to management as required.
  • Materials and Supplies: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed to maintain a well-stocked salon.
  • Problem-Solving: Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the activities of our team members, and possibly review their performance.
  • Training: Train staff in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies to ensure they are equipped to provide excellent customer service.
  • Work Schedules and Procedures: Establish work schedules and procedures to ensure a smooth and efficient operation of the salon.

  • 1 to 2 people
