**About the Role**

We are seeking an experienced IAM Solution Architecture and Engineering Director to join our organization at Scotiabank. As the Director, you will be responsible for providing direction, oversight, and strategic management of our global IAM solutions.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Deliver complex solutions against our IAM roadmap, covering solution architecture & design, development & integration, to ensure the utmost security and efficiency in access control.
  • Ensure resiliency and software currency of our IAM systems.
  • Manage IT design, development, and support teams to support the enablement of IAM capabilities.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including senior executives.
  • Perform management tasks, including incident response and escalations, vendor & contract management, infrastructure management, and service resiliency.
  • Architect, develop, integrate, implement, and manage complex solutions and large IT teams.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest IAM technologies and industry trends.
  • Lead and manage a team of 20+ members, providing guidance and support to ensure the success of our IAM solutions.

**Requirements**

  • 10+ years of experience in IAM solution architecture and engineering.
  • Proven experience in the IAM industry and expert understanding of IAM technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of SDLC practices and DevOps pipelines.
  • Experience with program delivery, including planning and estimation.
  • Excellent people leadership and communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • Experience with Agile Delivery and certification(s) (CISSP, CISM, CCSP) would be an asset.
