We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Accountant to join our team at HLC TALENT. As a key member of our financial management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the accounts payable and receivable transactions team.

Your primary focus will be on managing the day-to-day activities of the team, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. You will also be responsible for performing end-of-month analyses, participating in the reconciliation of year-end reports, and preparing monthly and weekly management reports for management.

In addition, you will supervise the performance of corporate and compliance activities, including taxes, deposits, provisionals, and tax returns. You will also be responsible for ensuring the effectiveness and efficiency of transactional processes and establishing and maintaining relationships with operations and payroll managers.

As a seasoned accounting professional, you will bring a high level of expertise and leadership skills to this role. You will be responsible for making improvements to the period-end process, ensuring compliance with the financial statement release schedule, and participating in the production of financial analyses and dashboards.

Key qualifications for this role include a Bachelor's degree in accounting with at least 1 year of experience or a DEC in accounting with 5 to 7 years of experience. You will also need to have in-depth mastery of accounting principles, good leadership and team management skills, and strong analytical skills.
