Chief Accountant, Transactional Services

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Accountant to join our team at HLC TALENT. As a key member of our financial management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the accounts payable and receivable transactions team.

Your primary focus will be on managing the day-to-day activities of the team, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. You will also be responsible for performing end-of-month analyses, participating in the reconciliation of year-end reports, and preparing monthly and weekly management reports for senior management.

In addition to your technical skills, you will need to possess excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop team members. You will also need to have a strong analytical mindset and be able to solve problems effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the accounts payable and receivable transactions team
  • Perform end-of-month analyses and participate in the reconciliation of year-end reports
  • Prepare monthly and weekly management reports for senior management
  • Supervise the performance of corporate and compliance activities
  • Ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of transactional processes
  • Establish and maintain relationships with operations and payroll managers
  • Participate in the production of financial analyses and dashboards
  • Act as a resource person for the team and senior management
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting with at least 1 year of experience or DEC in accounting with 5 to 7 years of experience
  • In-depth mastery of accounting principles
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to solve problems effectively
  • Good command of accounting software and computer tools
  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
