About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Pipe Coater-Painter to join our team at Ideal Coatings & Fabrication Ltd. As a key member of our coating team, you will be responsible for applying protective and decorative coatings to various metal products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and Prepare Work Area: Ensure the work area is clean and organized, and that all necessary equipment is available and in good working condition.
  • Apply Coatings: Use automated spray painting equipment or hand-held spray guns to apply coatings to metal products, following established procedures and safety protocols.
  • Maintain Equipment: Regularly inspect and maintain equipment to ensure optimal performance and prevent downtime.
  • Organize and Maintain Inventory: Keep track of coating supplies and materials, and ensure that inventory is properly stored and organized.
  • Perform Quality Control: Inspect coatings for quality and adherence to specifications, and report any issues or concerns to management.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but a willingness to learn and train is essential.
  • Experience: Willingness to train and learn the skills required for the role.
  • Work Environment: Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in a fast-paced environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs), bend, crouch, and kneel, and work in a physically demanding environment.
