The Lassonde School of Engineering at York University is seeking a Program Mentor Lead to support the planning and delivery of STEM programming for students in Kindergarten to Grade 12. As a Program Mentor Lead, you will design and facilitate hands-on STEM activities, deliver mentorship, and provide lead support to Program Mentors in our Bringing STEM to Life: Work-Integrated Learning programs.

Requirements
  • Current or recent undergraduate student in a STEM program
  • Experience working with youth
  • Previous experience in a research lab is an asset
Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver STEM activities and programming
  • Facilitate STEM research project activities
  • Provide mentorship and support to Program Mentors
Skills and Qualifications
  • Ability to lead, mentor, and motivate others
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google G Suite
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
