ServiceNow Developer Job Description

TRM technologies Inc. is seeking a skilled ServiceNow Developer to join our team. As a ServiceNow Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing ServiceNow applications and integrations that meet the needs of our Federal Government client.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with Business Stakeholders: Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into ServiceNow solutions.
  • Design and Develop ServiceNow Applications: Design and develop ServiceNow applications, modules, and integrations based on best practices.
  • Configure and Customize ServiceNow Modules: Configure and customize ServiceNow modules such as Incident Management, Change Management, Service Catalog, and others as needed.
  • Ensure Seamless Integration: Collaborate with other developers and technical teams to ensure seamless integration with other systems.
  • Conduct Thorough Testing: Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure the quality and reliability of ServiceNow solutions.
  • Provide Ongoing Support: Provide ongoing support and maintenance for ServiceNow applications.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • ServiceNow Experience: Proven experience as a ServiceNow Developer with a strong understanding of ServiceNow platform architecture.
  • Scripting and API Experience: Hands-on experience with ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, Glide, Jelly) and ServiceNow APIs.
  • IT Service Management Knowledge: Solid understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) processes.
  • Integration and Custom Application Development: Experience with ServiceNow integrations and custom application development.
  • ServiceNow Certifications: ServiceNow certifications (e.g., Certified Application Developer, Certified Implementation Specialist) are a plus.
  • Strong Problem-Solving and Communication Skills: Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Government Security Clearance: Valid Government of Canada Security Clearance.
