Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and reliable Camp Maintenance Technician to join our team at a world-class remote camp facility. This role is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, sanitation, and overall upkeep of the camp, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for all residents.
Responsibilities- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness throughout the camp by performing tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing various areas.
- Clean and sanitize designated kitchen and dining areas, ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations.
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential maintenance issues and ensure compliance with standards.
- Remove snow from walkways, stairs, and landings during winter months.
- Assist with inventory management of cleaning supplies and other essential materials.
- Deliver supplies and equipment throughout the camp as needed.
- Perform general maintenance tasks such as minor repairs and upkeep of facilities.
- Operate company vehicles to transport staff and supplies.
- Knowledge of standard cleaning procedures, chemicals, products, and equipment.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Experience in a similar role within a camp or institutional setting is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 35 pounds, and perform repetitive tasks.
