Role Summary:
We are on the lookout for a meticulous and collaborative professional to join our Business Performance team as a Senior Financial Analyst. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in delivering precise and timely management reporting, analytics, and forecasting across all financial dimensions of our operations, thereby influencing strategic decision-making. This role involves supporting the development and upkeep of comprehensive financial reporting and coordinating essential annual planning and forecasting cycles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct and evaluate the monthly financial closure for designated areas within the Sales and/or Marketing divisions.
- Analyze the implications of monthly results on future forecasts and necessary actions by respective teams.
- Collaborate with the commercial division to coordinate monthly forecasting and annual planning initiatives.
- Oversee, predict, and challenge variances to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints with business unit leaders.
- Proactively assist business unit managers by providing them with monthly reports and insightful commentary.
- Monitor and assess ROI on innovations, trade, and brand investments, including analyses of brand profitability and marketing expenditures.
- Develop and maintain a monthly risk and opportunity analysis and reporting framework by leveraging our Sales and Operations Planning processes.
- Champion a growth mindset to facilitate the simplification and automation of existing processes.
- Perform additional related duties and responsibilities as assigned or required.
Qualifications:
- Education: University Degree, preferably in Accounting or Business Administration.
- Experience: 3-5 years in progressive finance roles.
- Certifications: CPA or MBA preferred.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proficient in financial forecasting tools and financial modeling.
- Demonstrated success in financial planning, analysis, and reporting.
- Able to quickly adapt and maintain focus while managing complex data amidst changing deadlines and priorities.
- Exhibit a positive, energetic demeanor and thrive in a dynamic, collaborative culture.
- Experience in the wine or consumer packaged goods (CPG) sectors is advantageous.
- Familiarity with Power BI, Hyperion, JDE, or other business intelligence tools is a plus.

Compensation: Budgeted range – $75,337 - $97,754. This range considers various factors, including experience, education, training, licenses, certifications, and other organizational requirements.
