Job Summary:
Kativik Ilisarniliriniq (La commission scolaire du Nunavik) is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administration Technician to join our team in Montreal. As a key member of our Human Resources department, you will be responsible for managing the recruitment process for our entire board, including job postings, candidate screening, and interview coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective job posting strategies to attract top talent;
- Screen and shortlist candidates based on established criteria;
- Coordinate interviews and conduct pre-interview screenings;
- Verify academic and professional qualifications of candidates;
- Prepare and send offer letters and documents to new hires;
- Update HR lists and maintain accurate records;
- Compile data and produce reports on staffing management.
Requirements:
- College diploma in administrative techniques with a human resources option or equivalent experience;
- Fluency in two of the three official languages of KI (Inuktitut, English, and French);
- Excellent communication and organizational skills;
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines;
- Availability to travel to Nunavik 1-2 weeks per school year.
