Qualifications Required
- High school diploma or equivalent (mandatory)
- College degree or some college experience (preferred)
- Minimum of two years in customer sales, upselling, telemarketing, and service roles (mandatory)
- At least two years of experience in the corporate or leisure travel sector (mandatory)
- One year of experience in international bookings
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to incoming calls and emails from customers currently traveling or seeking travel information.
- Engage with customers in a courteous, friendly, and professional manner.
- Convert customer inquiries into sales effectively.
- Utilize appropriate sales techniques to achieve revenue and closure goals.
- Research travel rates, destinations, options, and packages for clients.
- Adhere to provided scripts while maintaining sales and quality standards.
- Provide accurate answers to general travel and site-related questions.
- Offer information, suggestions, and options that meet customer needs and encourage purchases.
- Track and report call types and service issues accurately.
- Promote and sell products or services effectively.
- Solicit sales of new or additional services.
- Process calls to meet or exceed established daily metrics while maintaining average talk time aligned with business needs.
- Achieve or surpass quality standards consistently.
