Role Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage with clients to identify their financial objectives and life goals, delivering thorough assessments and fostering enduring relationships through financial expertise and ongoing support.
  • Perform detailed analysis and reporting, utilizing findings to make informed recommendations and continuously evaluate the effectiveness of financial strategies.
  • Contribute to departmental objectives while enhancing customer service and commitment to excellence.
  • Monitor service delivery and productivity, implementing improvements to enhance efficiency.
  • Stay informed of industry best practices and emerging trends to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to colleagues, sharing expertise and fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Uphold a culture of risk management and control, aligned with organizational risk appetite.
  • Actively participate as a team member, promoting a positive and service-oriented workplace.

Qualifications:
  • A university degree and/or 3-5 years of relevant industry experience.
  • Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) is mandatory.
  • IIROC license is preferred (to be obtained within the first 90 days).
  • Conduct & Practices Handbook (CPH) must be completed within the first 90 days.
  • IQPF licensing is required prior to the start date (for Quebec only).
  • Wealth Management Essentials (WME) must be completed within the first 30 months.
  • Certified Financial Planner designation is to be achieved within the first 3 years.
  • A comprehensive understanding of the financial industry, competitive landscape, and economic market conditions.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work both collaboratively and independently, while building strong relationships.
