Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate leads, arrange meetings, assess customer requirements, and promote suitable products and services.
  • Deliver timely, precise, and courteous customer support. This includes addressing inquiries about insurance options, eligibility, coverage details, policy modifications, claims processing, and billing inquiries.
  • Collaborate with the agent to set and achieve marketing objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Property & Casualty license - OTL (preferred/must be able to obtain)
  • Life license - LLQP (preferred/must be able to obtain)
  • Experience in sales (outside sales, inside sales representative, retail sales associate, or telemarketing) is preferred.
  • Proven success in achieving sales targets is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills - written, verbal, and listening.
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Commitment to customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Capability to present to prospective clients.
  • Self-motivated and driven.
  • Attention to detail is essential.

Compensation includes a base salary ranging from $40,000 to $50,000 based on experience, plus commission.

This position is with an independent contractor agent affiliated with the Desjardins exclusive agent network. Employees of this agent are not employees of Desjardins Group or its subsidiaries. Independent contractor agents are responsible for all employment decisions regarding their staff.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $40,000.00-$50,000.00 annually

Experience:

  • Sales experience: 2 years (preferred).
